The Iranian Foreign Ministry summons the German ambassador in Tehran

Hans-Audo Motsel, the German ambassador to Tehran, was called into the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s office after new harsh sanctions against Iran were announced.
IRNA, the official news agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reported this.
Iran charges Germany and German Foreign Minister Analeina Perbuk with backing the anti-regime protests in Iran for weeks, according to “IRNA.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also accused other European nations of sponsoring terrorism at the same time, according to IRNA.
The German Foreign Ministry has not yet issued an official statement on this issue.
Due to the manner the Iranian government handled the movement of protesters there, Wednesday yesterday declared its determination to keep its contacts with Iran restricted.

The Green Party’s policy stated in a statement yesterday that it is not possible to maintain the bilateral ties between Berlin and Tehran “as they are.” It also noted that additional restrictions are anticipated to be imposed at the national level in Germany in addition to the sanctions that have already been approved at the EU level.

Tensions arise as the Iranian government struggles to quell widespread anti-regime demonstrations that began after the death of Muhsa Amini, a young Kurdish Iranian, and as the ethics police detain people for disobeying Islamic clothing regulations.
The young woman passed away on September 16 of last year, and hundreds of people have protested Iran’s militant policy ever since.

In a recent statement, the Oslo-based Iranian opposition human rights group claimed that security forces were responsible for the deaths of at least 185 protestors, including 19 children.
Iranian media, on the other hand, said that during the protests, 41 people, including security personnel, had died and that over 700 others, including 60 women, had been detained.

The European Union, the United States and several countries criticized the Iranian police dealing with the protests.
Leaders in Iran were subject to sanctions from the United States.

The German ambassador in Tehran is summoned by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
