The poet Amal Moussa, Professor of Sociology at the University of Manouba, Tunisia, Minister of Family, Women, Childhood and the Elderly, in Tunisia since October 2021, participated in several Tunisian, Arabic and foreign poetry festivals, whose poetry collections have been translated into languages: Italian, French, Turkish, English and Spanish.

The following poetry collections were published: Female Water, by Ceras Publishing and Distribution House, 1996 (second edition 2000); The Shame of Rubies, by Sharqiyat House for Publishing and Distribution, Cairo, 1998; Feminine Twice, by Ceres Dar for Publishing and Distribution, Cairo, 2005; Octa Rattle, by Dar Al-Farqad, Damascus, 2010; Life Has Not Yet Placed Its Powders, by Dar Kalima Publishing, Cairo, 2017. (Second Edition Dar Battana in Cairo 2020).

She received it in sociology: Bourguiba and the theological debate: How much did the conflict between the politician’s relationship with religion overwhelm? Al-Nahda Movement between the Brotherhood and the Tongness (a book co-written with Professor Dr. Abdel Qader Al-Zaghal), Ceras Publishing House, Tunisia, 2006; Tunisian youth and religion in daily life, Foundation without Borders, 2019; and Ceras Publishing, Tunisia, 2006.

The most significant honours she has received are the first place prize for the best Arab production on women’s issues given by the Arab Women Organization in 2006, the European Lerichi Pia Prize for Poetry in 2014, the Zubaydah Bashir Award for Best Literary Production given by Crediev in 2018 and the Katilo Poetry Award given by the Ministry of Family and Women in Tunisia in 2022.
