The AFC president: The Saudi national team has the design to appear honorable in the World Cup

Yasser Al-Meshal, President of the Saudi Football Association, and Ibrahim Al-Qasim, Secretary-General of the Federation, were met by Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, today, Thursday, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Al Khalifa congratulated the Saudi Football Association on the ongoing successes of the sport in Saudi Arabia, the most recent of which was the Saudi national team’s triumph in the Asian Cup under 2322 in Uzbekistan. He also praised the team’s outstanding performances in the Asian Futsal Cup 2022 in Kuwait and the Saudi Al-Hilal club’s fourth AFC Champions League victory.

The AFC President wished the Saudi national team well during their participation in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and continued, “The Saudi football squad has the design and the will to appear honourably in the World Cup with its distinctive components and its tremendous care and preparation stations Ideal.

In interacting with all national and regional federations, Al Khalifa emphasised the value of having good ties with the Saudi Football Association and appreciated Saudi Arabia’s dedication to the Asian Football Confederation’s guiding principles of unity and solidarity.
The General Secretaries Conference in the National and Regional Federations 2022 was hosted by Saudi Arabia earlier this year, according to the AFC President, who claimed that this fostered a culture of cooperation and unity.

Yasser Al-Meshal, the president of the Saudi Football Association, expressed his gratitude for the continental federation’s initiatives and programmes to support national and regional federations. He also praised Sheikh Salman for his crucial role in interacting with member federations by promoting Asian football’s wide-ranging development prospects.

The AFC president believes that the Saudi national squad will perform honourably at the World Cup.
