On the forty-first day since Nika Shakrami’s passing, doctors gathered in front of the Organization of the Medical System in Isfahan, central Iran, and protests were seen in many Iranian cities.
The security forces reportedly detained some doctors who were taking part in the protest, according to the reports they received.
Following the funeral service for the young guy slain by the security forces, the residents of Mahabad staged a protest on Wednesday and took control of the city’s existing structure.
Students planned protests on October 27 as evidenced by videos and stories from cities like Karaj and Isfahan that were published at the same time.
The students of “Pars” University of Arts and Architecture gathered in Tehran in the university square, and chanted slogans such as “the imprisoned student must be released”, and “if a person will remain behind a thousand people”, and “O sitting . . . Muhsa next will be from you.
At the University of “Azad Karj,” the students gathered while yelling slogans like “Students die and do not accept humiliation.
It is important to note that Hassan Nasrallah is the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, an ally of the most prominent Iranian authorities in the region. The protesters also marched through Lahijan while chanting, “Mr. Nasrallah, we will murder you.”
Videos show that City Center students gathered in Isfahan as well, chanting “Freedom… Freedom.”
A number of people and organisations have called for new street protests as part of the ongoing popular movement against the Iranian government and the widespread support for this uprising.
