North Korea allegedly fired a ballistic missile at South Korea’s eastern waters, according to South Korea.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea claims that the launch took place today but provided no more information, such as how far the weapon travelled.
The launch, the most recent in a string of recent nuclear tests by North Korea, occurred as South Korea wrapped up its annual military exercise, which North Korea perceives as a practise invasion.
