About two weeks after Muhammad Shi’a Al-Sudani assigned the responsibility of forming the new government and after more than a year in which the country had a severe political crisis, the Iraqi parliament will hold a session to vote on confidence in the new administration and its agenda on Thursday.

According to a formal document released by Parliament and made available by the official Iraqi News Agency, the session will begin on Thursday at 14:00 local time (11:00 GMT).

The parliament is controlled by the coordination framework forces, which includes a number of blocs, including the rule of law led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the conquest bloc represented by factions of the populace loyal to Iran, which nominated the Sudanese for the position with its allies in the “Administration” coalition The state. It is anticipated that this government will enjoy widespread confidence.

Along with the coordination framework, which controls 138 of the 329 deputies, the “State Administration” coalition also consists of the two major Kurdish parties, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, as well as the “Sovereignty” alliance led by Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
