Iranian Chief of Staff: “Riot” partners in the Shiraz attack

Major General Mohammad Baqri, the head of the Iranian General Staff, referred to the protesters as rioters and called them “partners of the terrorist act” that was directed at a sacred site in the south of the nation.

To teach the rioters who are accomplices in this crime that maintaining security and calm in the nation, as well as protecting the lives and wealth of the Iranian people, represents a red line for the Iranian armed forces, the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the attack in the city of Shiraz.

” Baqri pointed out that the country witnessed the killing and injury of a number of people in a religious shrine in Shiraz, saying that this happened “in circumstances that prevail in the temptations that were raised and led by the fateful Hebrew- Arab and Western triangle, and the archenemy who harms evil to Iran, its independence, religion and traditions. ”
The Iranian news agency (IRNA) cited Baqri as saying, “The Iranian security forces will reply severely to those involved in this crime.”

According to the agency, an armed terrorist attacked Wednesday evening worshipers and visitors at the Ahmed bin Musa bin Jaafar shrine in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz, leaving 15 people dead and 27 others injured.
