Habitat for humanity unveils new homes in Kingston, Ont.

This week, two family in Kingston, Ontario, will formally move into their Habitat for Humanity homes.
As part of habitat’s most recent endeavour, the townhomes were constructed in the city’s eastern section.
They were constructed utilising a range of environmentally friendly materials, labour, and supplies that were donated, but most significantly, the family themselves put in a lot of labour to make their homes a reality.

An effort to help individuals buy homes during a turbulent period in the housing market included a home financing partnership as part of the project.
Homeowner Courtney Larocque admitted, “Honestly, until I got here today, I didn’t think this was happening.
We’re incredibly excited and looking forward to the next chapter in our lives in our new house, but we’re not going to believe it until we have the keys in our hands. But we’re here today.

New houses are unveiled by Habitat for Humanity in Kingston, Ontario.
