Driver faces impaired charge after being found asleep at the wheel: OPP

Police discovered a man in Kingston, Ontario, dozing off behind the wheel early on Thursday.
According to police, they discovered an abandoned car on the westbound lanes of Highway 401 close to Lansdowne with an unresponsive driver.
Police were able to wake up the driver, found he had consumed alcohol, then arrested him.
Douglas Whaley, 47, of Kingston, is facing two impaired driving charges and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He was released from detention and will show up in court on November 18 in Brockville.
