Calling for more than 490,000 vehicles due to technical defects in South Korea

A number of automakers, including Hyundai Motor and Mercedes Benz Korea, are to call in more than 490,000 vehicles to fix component faults, the South Korean Ministry of Transport revealed today, Thursday.

According to a statement from the South Korean Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry, a total of 493152 vehicles in 35 various sizes are being summoned by the six businesses, which also include the Kia Group, Tsala Motors Korea, Volkswagen Korea, and Pelin Motors Group.
