Britain and Australia are looking to enhance bilateral cooperation

Today, Thursday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak spoke by phone with his Australian colleague Anthony Albaniz on measures to improve bilateral ties.
“He is enthusiastic about the relationship between the United Kingdom and Australia, which was built on a deep friendship and a common approach to face global challenges,” Sonak said, according to the official website of the British government.

The British Prime Minister added that the Free Trade Agreement, Okos alliance and the potential joining of the United Kingdom to the comprehensive and advanced agreement of the Pacific Partnership were all examples of the strength of the relationship.
Sonak applauded Australia’s steadfast support for Ukraine, particularly its decision to send troops to the United Kingdom for Ukrainian force training.

Rishi Sonak, the new prime minister of Britain, stated his desire to meet that individual at the Group of Twenty meeting the next month.
Notable is the Okos alliance, a trilateral security pact between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America that would support the development and deployment of nuclear-powered submarines in all three nations while also bolstering the military presence of the west in the Pacific.

Australia and Britain want to increase their bilateral collaboration.
