Zellinski: Our forces are steadfast in front of the crazy Russian plans in Bakhmout

The repeated Russian attacks near two significant cities in the Donbas region of the country’s east have not deterred the Ukrainian forces, according to Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski, who called the Russian plans “crazy.”
Zellinski continued, “Good news will get to the front soon, but I have no specifics.”
“There are no significant changes to the situation on the front,” he continued.

Near Battamout and Evdyvka in the Donetsk region, there are fierce fights going on. “This is the site where the irrationality of the Russian leadership is obvious. They concentrate the most intense waves of artillery pounding on the two cities, killing people there day after day for months.
The Russian forces have repeatedly tried to control Battamout, which is located on a major road that leads to the cities of Slovinsk and Karabaratorsk, which are controlled by Ukraine.

Zelennski’s adviser Octi Aristovich claimed on Tuesday that the Russians attempted eight attacks in one day but were repulsed each time.
Zelinski made no mention of the events taking place close to Jiusson, a city in the south that is under the hands of Moscow-aligned forces. Ukrainian forces say they expect a difficult battle there.

He declared: “In general, we are fortifying our positions along the line of conflict, reducing the invaders’ capabilities and disabling their logistical capacities, and getting ready positive news for Ukraine.
The Russian army “lost a lot of aviation equipment and other items,” Zelinski continued, adding that “Russia will not be able to make up for these losses.”
Zelinski added that the most recent prisoner swap between the two sides resulted in the release of ten Ukrainians.

Zellinski: Despite the absurd Russian plans in Bakhmout, our forces remain unwavering.
