Al-Madinah News: The national team representing the country in the third group of the AFC Championship for Youth was paired with the South Korean squads, Oman, and Tajikistan.
The Asian Youth Cup U-20, 2023 draw took place today, on Wednesday, in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
In the first group, which also contains its team, Indonesia, Iraq, and Syria, the host Uzbekistan squad received a draw.
There are 16 teams competing in the finals, divided into four groups with four teams each. The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.
Qatar was also placed in the second group, along with Australia, Vietnam, and Iran, as a result of the draw.
Teams from South Korea, Jordan, Tajikistan, and Oman made up the third group, while teams from Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, and Kyrgyzstan made up the fourth.
The Asian Football Confederation unveiled the updated slogans for the age championships, which will take place from March 1 to March 18 of the following year.
