In the third round of the preparations for the 2022 World Cup, which begins on November 20, the Saudi national team and its Albanian opponent matched with a goal each during the match they played on Wednesday night at Al Nahyan Stadium.
The green goal was scored from a penalty by Saleh Al-Shehri.
Two separate formations were used by French Herve Renard when he joined the meeting; the first group played for 60 minutes of the contest, while the second group played for the last 30 minutes.
The team’s third-stage encounter against Saudi Arabia is their second friendly; they still have three more matches against Honduras, Iceland, and Panama.
In preparation for the World Cup, the Saudi national team practises with its Albanian equivalent.
