Ned Price, a spokesperson for the US State Department, urged Russia to accept its offer to release the illegally detained Americans.
Price – Today’s American (Al-Hurra) station reported that there had been negotiations with Russia over Britney Grayner and Paul Willian, but that these contacts have stalled despite our best efforts to secure their release.
Prior to now, according to the US State Department, the US and Russia were actively negotiating the release of American basketball player Britney Greenner and former US soldier Paul Willian.
Price requests that Russia accept the United States’ offer to free the imprisoned Americans.
