A 34-year-old man died in Regina General Hospital after suffering injuries consistent with an assault, and Regina police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are now looking into the incident.
On October 12, about 12:40 a.m., police were called to the hospital, where they discovered medical personnel ministering to an unconscious male.
Investigating the event as an assault, the Regina Police Service got to work.
Police were alerted that Regina resident Bryant Thayne Starr had passed away in the hospital two weeks after the assault.
Police are requesting that anyone with information call them at 306-777-6500.
Regina has committed seven murders thus far in 2022.
Police are looking into a Regina man’s death in the hospital from assault wounds.
