The joint coordination centre in Istanbul is investigating a possible nautical model that was discovered in one of the maritime humanitarian corridors designated as part of the plan to ship wheat across the Black Sea.
According to the centre, the search and rescue vessels Sapphire and SAR2 are permitted to depart the Odessa port for an initial analysis of the incident. On Wednesday, October 26, ships will depart for the location in the northern part of the route.

On July 22 in Istanbul, four countries—Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the UN—signed two documents addressing the issues of food supply and fertiliser for international markets. This agreement is known as the “grain deal.”

Under this deal, the United Nations is assumed to remove various restrictions on exporting agricultural products and Russian fertilizers to global markets, while the first part of the deal determines the algorithm of the export of Ukrainian agricultural products from the Black Sea ports, which is controlled by Ukraine.
