Dortmund qualifies for the Champions League final in a draw with Manchester City

The English team Manchester City and its German opponent Borussia Dortmund faced off against one another on Tuesday night at the “Signal Idona Park” stadium, in the fifth round of the group stage of the Champions League competition for the 2022–23 season. The match ended in a negative tie.

In the 58th minute of the game, Algerian Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty kick that was saved by Borussia Dortmund’s goalie.

Manchester City, who finished first in Group Seven with 11 points, advanced to the 16th round of the Champions League.
Following the game, Borussia raised its total to 7 points, moving up one spot in the group to tie Man City for second place.
At Etihad Stadium, Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund in the first leg with a score of 2-0.
