Corbrana, technical director of the West Bromwich team

Carlos Corbranan has been appointed as the technical director of the English club’s first football team, according to West Bromwich.
The former Huddersfield boss, who will oversee the team’s first practise today, reportedly signed a two-and-a-half-year contract to take Steve Bruce’s place, who was fired at the start of this month.
Following a poor start to the season, West Bromwich is currently second from the bottom in the Premier League.

The 39-year-old Spanish coach left Huddersfield in the summer after guiding the team to play in the Premier League qualifying round final, where they lost 0–1 to Nottingham Forest.
After only two victories in the first 16 league games, West Bromwich is situated in the landing point, three points outside of the safe zone.
Next Saturday, West Bromwich will host Sheffield United, and the following Tuesday, it will host Blackpool.
