A memorandum of understanding between Algeria and Egypt for cooperation in the field of mines and oil services

On the margins of the GPA Forum (GECF) ministerial conference, which took place today in Cairo, Egypt and Algeria inked a memorandum of understanding to advance their cooperation in the fields of mines and oil and gas services.

The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Al-Mulla and the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Aqab, discussed opportunities for expanding their bilateral cooperation as they reviewed the state of that cooperation on the sidelines of the meeting, according to a Facebook post from the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mines.

They have also established a “road map to identify the specific projects that the businesses of the two nations will carry out in the fields of fuel marketing, particularly liquefied oil, oil, and manufacturing industries, especially petrochemicals, in the field of mines, oil and gas services, study, engineering, and hydrogen.
She stated that the signing of a memorandum of agreement to advance cooperation in those areas was approved at the meeting.
