12 Foreign Minister denounces the suppression of protests in Iran

Twelve foreign ministers, led by Melanie Jolie of Canada, denounced the 40 days of bloody suppression of protests for women’s rights in Iran.
In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Libya, Albania, Andorra, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Kosovo, Lesnstein, New Zealand, and Norway declared, “In our capacity as foreign ministers, we feel responsible for the voices of Iranian women.”

“Their sympathy with the courageous Iranian women who exercise their right to the peaceful assembly and protect their fundamental rights,” they declared.
The ministers also condemned the “violent application” of the compulsory law of the veil in Iran and the “campaign of repression on the protesters” that left at least 141 people, including children, according to a new toll announced by the Human Rights Iran organization, based in Oslo..
