Things to know about in-person absentee voting in Wisconsin

(WBAY) – Green Bay, Wisconsin Before the general election in November, Wisconsin will begin accepting in-person absentee ballots on October 25.

Absentee voting in person must end by November 6th.

Republican businessman Tim Michels is challenging Tony Evers for the Democratic nomination. Democratic lieutenant governor Mandela Barnes is putting up a bid against incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson. It’s a close contest in both.
If you asked for a ballot to be mailed to you, please return it as soon as you can. The Wisconsin Elections Commission recommends sending your completed ballot in the mail no later than November 4. You return it to your clerk’s office if you are unable to mail it on time.

On election day, completed ballots must be received no later than 8 p.m.
Unmanned ballot drop boxes are now forbidden in Wisconsin according to a Supreme Court decision. Voting materials must therefore be delivered to your clerk or the appropriate site.
