Due to the challenging circumstances the publishing industry is facing, it has been decided by Issa Al-Ansari, Secretary-General of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature, on behalf of the Kuwaiti International Book Fair and with the support of Saud Al-Mansour, President of The Resources Development Committee, to exempt publishers participating in the Kuwait Exhibition from subscription fees and provide all facilities possible for them to reduce their burdens.
The offices of the Minister of Information and Culture, the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Arts have all been contacted.
All publishing houses taking part in the exhibition were exempt from paying any participation fees; this was done out of a desire to support the literary and cultural events at the Kuwait International Book and Support Exhibition, which would make it easier for the publishing houses to take part in the exhibition.
An expression of gratitude and appreciation was made to the Minister, the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature, the Kuwait Fair’s administration, and Saud Al-Mansour, a colleague, for their continued support of Arab culture in general and Kuwaiti culture in particular.
