Egypt’s government launches ‘Cairo Bike’ project ahead of COP27

Cairo, Garden City, and Zamalek will all have “Cairo Bike” launced by the Egyptian government on October 25, 2022.
The project’s initial phase includes 25 stations and a large number of bikes that may be rented in Downtown using a specific app. Starting at L. E1, the hourly rate is set.
The project intends to promote sustainable transportation among residents and lessen air pollution and traffic congestion.

One of the government’s sustainable projects, it takes place in November in conjunction with the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Conference (COP27).

Ahead of COP27, the Egyptian government introduces the “Cairo Bike” project.
