Hazard: Belgium needs to win the World Cup

Belgium captain Eden Hazard confirmed that his country needs to win the FIFA World Cup in Qatar to justify the description of the “golden generation” that the team carried in the last ten years, as it hopes that the team will give its first prominent title.
The 31-year-old Real Madrid striker has represented Belgium as a captain since 2015. He is taking part in his third World Cup and wants to do better than third place in Russia 2018.

Hazard stated on the “FIFA” website of the International Federation: “I raised the ceiling of expectations. I will try to achieve a better result than 2018; however, it will be challenging because that result was very good. I’m fortunate to have a strong team driving badge, so we owe it to ourselves to raise the ceiling of expectations.”

Numerous notable players from Belgium are currently playing for the top European teams, including Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard, Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne, Thibaut Courtois in net, and Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan from Chelsea and playing for Inter Milan.
There has always been chatter about the “golden generation,” and some of it is true, according to Hazard. The team currently has a large number of young players despite the ten years we spent together. We are undoubtedly a fantastic generation, but we haven’t yet achieved any success.

We hope that our combined experience will continue for a while because it helped us win the previous titles.
Belgium begins its tournament’s career by facing Canada on November 23, and Morocco four days later, and its matches are concluded in the group stage against Croatia on December 1..

Risk: Belgium must prevail at the World Cup.
