Vladimir Zellinski, the president of Ukraine, was compared to Osama bin Laden, the founder of the terrorist group “Al Qaeda,” by Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In an interview with Russian Channel One, Zakharova stated: “Zellinski is the son of Laden No. 2 for the international community, but with a European appearance. The extent of what he did and the severity with which his countrymen are treated may be the reasons why it is more potent than Bin Laden’s.
Zakharova continued, saying that Osama bin Laden and his organisation were “Washington’s pals… they lived and worked for their money and killed others using American weaponry before the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center towers in New York on September 11, 2001.
“But they only developed a rivalry after the towers fell; the same thing is happening with Zellinski right now,”
