According to the Reuters news agency, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid stated today, Monday, that the signing of the maritime border demarcation agreement between his nation and Lebanon will take place next Thursday.
According to the Hebrew channel “Can,” Amos Hakstein, the American mediator in the negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, indicated on Sunday that the date for signing the maritime border demarcation agreement between Israel and Lebanon will be next Thursday.

The American mediator will take part in the signing ceremony, according to the Hebrew newspaper “Yediot Aharonot,” which also cited the Russian “Sputnik” news agency. The Israeli and Lebanese parties will sign the deal separately.
Prior to the agreement’s signature in the border town of Ras al-Naqoura on Thursday morning, the Israeli government is expected to give its approval.
