United Nations: A lot of doing is required to reduce the accumulation of ships in the Black Sea Pills Agreement

More than 150 ships are involved in the grain shipping agreement across the Black Sea, and Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and the UN have all acknowledged the crisis. “There is a lot to accomplish,” a UN spokesman said on Monday.
According to Asmaini Pala, a spokeswoman for the UN Black Sea Pills Initiative, “there are currently more than 150 ships waiting for Istanbul to move, and this delay is likely to affect the supply chain and port operations.”

The agreement, reached in July between the UN and Turkey, made it possible for Ukraine to begin grain exports from the Black Sea-facing ports, which had been shut since the start of the conflict. Moscow also received assurances on the shipment of its grain and fertiliser.

UN: There needs to be a lot of action taken to minimise the number of ships accumulating under the Black Sea Pills Agreement.
