Thwarting the smuggling of 900 “Hassoun” birds from Turkey to Syria

The Turkish customs authorities prevented 900 birds from the “golden” family from being smuggled into Syria.

The Directorate of Protection of Nature and National Gardens in Kelis fined the person whose birds were found in his vehicle one million and 173 thousand Turkish liras (roughly 63 thousand dollars), according to the Anatolia Agency, after the customs agents searched a car that was travelling from Turkey to Syria at the “Joban Bay” crossing.

While the prosecution initiated an investigation against the person who attempted to smuggle them, Golden, threatened by nature, was launched in nature.
