In order to bring together teams from various continents in the Emirates and draw spectators to watch their stars, attend their experiences, and stand on the final touches before the World Cup launch, these teams have already reserved the locations of their camps and identified the stadiums that will host their matches between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The Argentine team, led by Lionel Messi, will hold a camp from November 9 to November 13 and be open to fans on November 13 at Al Nahyan Stadium at Al-Wahda Club. The Emirates team will then face the UAE team on November 16 at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Jazira Club. This is after the Saudi national team arrived in Abu Dhabi and entered its external camp at the Emirates Palace Hotel.

On November 17, Ghana and Switzerland will meet at Baniyas Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and on the same day, Japan and Canada will also play at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai. At the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 18, the Cameroon squad will face the Panama team in a friendly match.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi national team, which is competing in the World Cup alongside Argentina, Mexico, and Poland in the third group, began its experiences by defeating Northern Macedonia with a clean goal. The team then went on to play more friendly matches against Honduras and Albania on October 26 and 30 at Al Nahyan Stadium, before playing Iceland on November 6 at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, and finishing its preparations against the Panama team on October 10 at the same venue.

In addition to the teams that will participate in friendly games in the UAE, some World Cup teams will be content with a training camp before travelling to Qatar, like the Uruguayan national team, which is camped in Abu Dhabi from November 9 to November 19 in order to prepare for the eighth group competitions against Ghana, Portugal, and Korea Southern.

In addition to the World Cup teams, fans from all over the world started to swarm to the UAE to live there during the World Cup and only travel there on match days to support their national teams before returning again. This was made possible by the state’s excellent air transportation facilities and comfortable living conditions for the fans.

The International Football Association (FIFA) chose Dubai to be one of 6 global cities that embraces international festivals for fans during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which increases the fans’ ability to enjoy the atmosphere of the major football event because live broadcasts of the World Cup matches and a variety of entertainment activities will be available, many of which will feature former FIFA players.
