Guardiola expects Halland to be destroyed

The Norwegian striker Earleng Halland is expected to surpass the record set by the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, who scored 17 goals in 11 games, according to Spanish technical director Pep Guardiola of Manchester City. Halland is seven goals ahead of Harry Kane of Tottenham, who is his closest ally.

“You don’t have to be a genius, if Halland continues at this rhythm, it will break the record for registration in one season of the Premier League,” Guardiola said in statements to his club’s official website on Halland.
Mohamed Salah, together with Liverpool in 2017–18, holds the record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season (38 rounds, 32 goals), according to the tournament.

The Spanish coach continued, “Halland’s continued average will break the record; Halland is happy when we win and not when we lose; all the attackers I saw, Samuel Eto’o, David Villa, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, and Sergio Aguero, have incredible ambition to record a lot; this is normal; and Halland is like them. In football, you may register and after a few days you stop scoring, you do not know.

“The period that Halland lived in Borussia Dortmund helped him, we hope within a few years to be a better player thanks to his colleagues who play with them here in City. ”
With more than two-thirds of the season still to play, Halland is only 6 goals behind Sun Hyung Min, who finished the previous season as the league’s leading scorer with 23 goals.

Guardiola anticipates the destruction of Halland.
