Borussia Dortmund declared that it was willing to engage in combat with Erling Halland in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Manchester City.
Halland moved from Dortmund to Manchester City and made an amazing start with the English team, where he scored 22 goals in 14 games in all competitions, including the 2-1 victory goal, which came late from the first leg against Borussia Dortmund on September 14.
In remarks to reporters on Monday, Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Copel remarked, “Erling is a good person and a great football player.” When he quit the squad, he was really upset. He is a player who enjoys a tremendous speed, but we have to stop him in Tuesday’s match, he is great, but I trust the players in front of me.
Dortmund may join Manchester City in the round of 16 of the Champions League if they win their match, but only if Copenhagen loses to Spanish Seville in the other group encounter. Manchester City has already qualified for the round of 16 of the competition.
Halland, a former Dortmund great, is about to get stopped.
