“Cheese to combat fraud” .. an engineering method fights the scourge of education

According to the American daily “New York Post,” photographs of students at a college in the Philippines wearing these hats that covered their heads were published.
The issue stretched beyond hats and included covers and boxes that covered the head, making it impossible for a student to look at the paper of his neighbour who is seated next to him.
This experience inspired other colleges to follow the example of their colleagues.

The story began when Legazi instructed college students to wear this peculiar form so they couldn’t peek at their classmates’ exam papers.
One of the students came to construct tube glasses that only allow him to look at the paper in front of him because the others were just making household things, cardboard, and even egg boxes.
Marie Ortez, a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Picole, said that her idea is actually effective.

She continued by saying that a strategy that was used in Thailand nine years ago served as her inspiration.
After I challenged her students to go outside the box while designing the hats and covers they wear on their heads to discourage cheating, a mechanical engineering professor posted the photographs online, and soon the creators of these websites began manufacturing them both domestically and internationally.
Later, the news spoke that several colleges in the Philippines followed the same method in an attempt to counter fraud in the tests.

And the mechanical engineering professor thought that this year’s performance of her students was better because of the demanding test schedules.

“Cheese to combat fraud” is an engineering strategy that combats the educational plague.
