The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported today, Sunday, that last night, in the southern “Miklav” region, the armed forces destroyed 14 Russian drones, “Shahid-136 Kamikazi.”
In a press release distributed by the official Ukrainian news agency, the leadership claimed that on October 23rd night, the Air Force Defense Forces and Air Command shot down 14 Russian -136 -Kamikazi -136 -drones, while two days prior, Ukrainian forces had shot down a Russian Sukhoi-25 plane in the Miklav region.
Meanwhile, the head of the regional military administration of the Ukrainian army in the southern “Dnipropterrovsk” region, Valentin Residence, said that the Ukrainian army shot down hours ago, the Kamikazi -style Russian forces in the region.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, issued an order on February 24 to launch a special military operation in Ukraine. He noted that this action was in response to a request for assistance from the leaders of the Donbas republics.
Putin emphasised that Moscow does not intend to take Ukrainian territory but rather to disarm; in response, the United States and its allies imposed tight sanctions and expanded their shipments of weaponry to Ukraine.
