After losing 1-2 to its guest, Torino, today, Sunday, in the 11th round of the Italian Football League, Udinese suffered its second defeat of the year.
Aina, a Nigerian, scored the opening goal for the visitors’ team in the 14th minute, and Gerard Dolovo, a Spaniard, levelled the score for the home team in the 26th.
Turin settled the match in the second half with a goal by Beitro Biligri, in the 69th minute.
The club led by coach Andrea Sotel was only two goals off the league lead two weeks prior, but after two straight draws and an unexpected loss to Turin, the team dropped to sixth position overall with 21 points.
Udinese is now five points behind Napoli, who is now in first place and will be playing Roma Fourth (22 pts) later today.
On the other hand, Turin ended a series of five consecutive matches without victory in the league, and rose to ninth, with 14 points.
