In the 11th round of the Italian Football League on Sunday, Lazio suffered its first setback to its host Atalanta this year after a string of recent victories. The score was 2-0.
After receiving a pass from former Spanish international Pedro, Bakr Lazio’s midfielder Matia Tsakani scored the first goal in the tenth minute. Brazilian Felipe Anderson added the second goal at the start of the second half. Bakr Lazio played the game without its Italian international goal scorer, Chero Imobili, due to an injury (52).
With a goal difference over Atalanta, who dropped to fourth place after failing to take the lead, even momentarily, from Napoli (26 points), which afterwards took the position of a guest Roma Club, Lazio earned their seventh victory of the season and their fifth in their previous six games.
Atalanta also failed to restore second place from Milan (26 points), the defending champion, who was the most generous and the benefit of his guest Montesa 4-1, on Saturday.
