The Fifth Cultural Summit was held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning in the lighthouse of Saadiyat. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, witnessed the events in the presence of Noura Al-Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, and a group of senior leaders of cultural work at the global level. The Minister of Culture also witnessed the events of the summit’s opening session.

The Abu Dhabi Cultural Summit, which is held in the lighthouse of Saadiyat in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, began its first activities today in its fifth session for the year 2022. This year’s theme is “Keep the History,” and the summit will continue from October 23 to October 25.

The first activities of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Summit 2022 discussed the repercussions of the Corona “Kofid-19” on the world’s culture and arts sectors, where the fifth edition of the summit aims to explore the weaknesses in the post-pandemic culture sector to enhance its ability in preparation for the future.
Earlier today, Dr. was the moderator of the opening conversation session on “The importance of culture in establishing adaptable and cooperative communities.”

Speaking at this conversation session were Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Banda, Dalia Gharibaoskiti, and Evo Yosibovic, who explored the takeaways from the Corona crisis.

We discussed in the session today the growing importance of the cultural, creative, and priority industries sector that we attach to the UAE to support and develop these sectors to achieve sustainable development, according to Noura bint Mohammed Al-Akbi, Minister of Culture of the United Arab Emirates.
