Jessica Pegola, the fifth -ranked world, qualified for her second final match this year in the World Professional Tennis Association round, after defeating Victoria Azzinka in the Gadlakhara Open Sunday morning.
Pegola overcame the top seed from the previous world in an hour and 29 minutes with a score of 7/6 (3/3) and 6/1.
Peugeot will wait for a later time from Sunday to get to know her rival in the final match, after the other semi -final match between Maria Sakari and Mary Bozkova was postponed due to rain, and Sakari was 7/5.
The winner will face a demanding physical test because the championship match will take place later in the day.
Peugeot advances to the Jadlakhara Tennis Championship final.
