The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that Feni Valverde will be absent from Real Madrid against Leipzig, because of his suffering from a bruise in the right thigh that was exposed to Seville yesterday, Saturday, the 11th round of the Spanish League.
According to the newspaper, Feni Valverde of Uruguay underwent medical tests that revealed he had not been seriously exposed to a bruise. However, he will not play for the Royal list against Leipzig out of concern that doing so could worsen his injury before next Sunday’s La Liga match against Girona.
She pointed out that Real Madrid coach Ancelotti decided to exclude Fedi Valverde and Karim Benzema from the Meringue list, for fear of worsening their injury and their absence for a longer period than the team.
Undoubtedly, Real Madrid will start Karim Benzema and Fedy Valverde against Girona on Sunday in the competition’s 12th round of La Liga.
Notably, Real Madrid leads Group VI of the Champions League standings with 10 points, ensuring its participation in the championship round.
