In the eleventh round of the Spanish Football Championship on Sunday, French international striker Antoine Griezmann helped his team Atletico Madrid win a crucial victory over its host, Real Betis, to reclaim third position and the winning streak.
The second goal was added by Griezmann following a joint effort with the Brazilian substitute striker Matthews Kony. Griezmann entered the area, set up the ball for himself with his left, and fired with his strong creeping right between the legs of the Portuguese goalkeeper Roy Silva in the 54th minute. This allowed the capital to advance to the second pole (70 ).
Nabil Faqir, a midfielder for France’s national team, scored the owners’ goal with a free kick that was taken straight from outside the area.
Atletico Madrid returned to the winning track locally, which stopped in the last stage at five consecutive by falling into the trap of a tie against his guest and his neighbor Rayo Vicano 1-1.
It is Atletico Madrid’s seventh victory of the year, bringing their total to 23 points and edging out Real Sociedad, who lost 0-1 to their host Vallad Al-Walid on Saturday at the start of the stage, by one point for third place.
Atletico Madrid is led by Griezmann to reestablish its winning ways and third-place finish.
