Dutch police prevent the “Pegida” movement from burning the Qur’an in Rotterdam

According to an article in “Russia Today,” Dutch police detained Khairat Wilders, the leader of the anti-Islam “Begida” movement, as he attempted to burn the Holy Quran in the Rotterdam station square.
A number of “Begida” supporters gathered in the arena with the aim of burning a copy of the Holy Quran in a clear provocation to the feelings of the Muslim community in the Netherlands.

For the purpose of separating the opposition demonstrators from the “Begida” members, the police, who were present in significant numbers in the Rotterdam station square, formed a separate line.
The head of “Begida” was in possession of copies of the Holy Quran, which the police seized.
