The hardest aspect of writing the novel, by far, was the chemistry. I had to learn from a chemistry book from the 1950s because I was unable to use Google. Puni Garmos says this about her book Lessons in Chemistry, which sells well and has been on The New York Times’ best-seller list for months.
The inspiration for the book came from a personal experience of American author Bonny Garmos, a text writer and advertising professional who worked extensively in the fields of technology, medicine, and education. Garmos, who currently resides in London with her husband, learned how widespread discrimination against women is when she returned from a professional meeting. According to the website for Bok Siller, the author chose to write the novel while working.
Ponny Garmos began the well-known chemistry novel in 1961, when Elizabeth Zot, the host and the reluctant star, presented the renowned TV cooking programme “Sixth Dinner.” She is a five-year-old daughter. We also learn with the return of the novel to the back that it is a wonderful chemist whose scientific career has gone out of its course due to the discrimination of men who believe that the place of the woman is the house, but Elizabeth uses the chemistry that she learned in her studies
Lessons in Chemistry is the third book that I’ve written, but it’s the first one that you find a publisher, which only serves to demonstrate that age is irrelevant. Boni Garmos is now recognised as a writer who began her career at the age of 65, which is unusual in a field that seems to be obsessed with the voice of youth rather than experience.
In other words, my feelings about the writing are the same as they were when I was thirty.
