Due to his poor efficiency, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi claimed that the state administrative system was not prepared to conduct economic changes.
“Al -Sisi” added during his participation in the economic conference Egypt 2022, that economic reforms must paralyze the administrative apparatus reforming it for implementing the reform process for efficiency and effectiveness.
The President of the Republic revealed that it was his firm choice to halt the appointments in 2011 because of the frailty of the institutional framework.
The state had to take decisive action to stop the appointments since the number of employees expanded prior to 2011 as a result of the appointment of 1.5 million new workers, which caused an increase in pay from 80 billion to 230 billion pounds and pressure on the general budget.
Al-Sisi: To carry out economic changes, the state’s executive branch needs to be restructured.
