A global environmental movement called “rebellion against extinction” also aims to use peaceful civil disobedience to pressure governments into taking action to prevent environmental and social collapse, turning points in the climate system, and the loss of biological variety.
As part of its protests against climate change, the movement, which was founded in Britain in 2018, had its members close bridges and dump fake blood outside the Prime Minister’s office in Downing Street.
