The first Saudi national football team defeated Northern Macedonia (1 – 0), in the match they gathered on Saturday evening at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, within the third stage of the preparatory program for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In the game, Saleh Al-Shehri was successful in scoring the sole “green” goal.
Herve Renard, the coach, arrived at the meeting with two distinct lineups because the first group played for (60) minutes and the second group finished the final (30) minutes of the game.
On its official website, the Saudi Football Association noted that Renard had assigned special drills for the quadruple, Salman Al-Faraj, Abdullah Madou, Sami Al-Naji, and Haytham Asiri, along with physical preparation, while goalkeeper Amin Bukhari organised on Saturday morning in the Al-Akhdar camp.
