The announcement of the explosion of the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and the revelation of her admission to the hospital due to addiction caused Egyptian singer Hossam Habib to break his silence.
The Egyptian singer made a lengthy phone call to the Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb to talk about several details, as he tried to respond to what was said against him and his accusation that he was the reason for what happened to Sherine.
The most notable points made by Hossam Habib in his statement were that he initially entered Sherine’s life through friendship and that he had no idea she would one day become his wife. He added that she was involved in him because of what she was exposed to in her surroundings, and “exposed her to scratching and looting those around her”, so “he devoted” his life to trying to help her, which made him a hated person around her, as he put it.
When he married Sherine, Habib surprised everyone by revealing that he had more money in his bank account than Sherine, which startled everyone because her success did not reflect into his stability figures. He also denied taking any money from them.
The Egyptian singer vehemently denied hitting her, stating that he was “taught to respect women.”
” Hossam Habib admitted Sherine’s addiction, adding that he was her good between him and the drugs, and pointed out that the artist’s addiction “sometimes reached the drug becomes more important than him. ” But he emphasized that, at one point, he had seen Sherine’s progress and her efforts to resolve the issue.
He recovered what happened when Sherine cut her hair, saying that she had done it to force him to end their relationship together, and after he saw her on that night, he sat on his knee while he was collapsed and crying. But after that, they made up and became spouses once more without telling anyone about it; they just told their family. However, following another conflict, the police were summoned.
In his discussion of “a strategy that Sherine was subjected to in order to gain her money,” Hossam Habib noted that he had “secured her and secured her girls,” which, in his words, “would destroy any plan to be exposed to.”
He brought up the fact that Sherine’s brother hadn’t spoken to her in over two years and questioned why it had just appeared due to her treatment.
Then he uncovered the specifics of that night when Sherine entered the hospital; he was able to confirm that her brother was there, and that they were accompanied by individuals brandishing a white weapon. They assaulted him and took Sherine against her will while she was wailing and sobbing, leaving him to stand in the street alone and cry as a result of what had happened.
He admitted that he still loves her even after learning that Sherine attempted suicide in the hospital and that she hasn’t eaten since because of what she went through.
Hossam Habib emphasized that Sherine’s brother will sue because of what happened, and he admitted that he did not give up his cases against Sherine to satisfy his family, but he confirmed that he would never harm the artist..
