Griffo becomes the Italian most scored in the Bundesliga

Vinchinzo Grivo of Freiburg, who overtook his countryman Luca Tony’s previous mark, has now scored more goals in the German Bundesliga than any other player from Italy.
Griffo scored the second goal of a penalty kick in the 80th minute during Freiburg’s victory over his guest Werder Bremen 2 /zero today, Saturday, raising his score from the goals in the Bundesliga to 39 goals.

Griffo added, “I also felt proud to shatter his record.
Between 2007 and 2009, Tony played for Bayern Munich and scored 38 goals in 60 appearances.

Griffo now has the most goals in the Bundesliga for an Italian.
