In the history of plastic art, one of the pioneers is the artist Omar Al-Najdi (1931-2019).
Omar Al-Najdi was then interested in studying overseas and completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice from 1960 to 1964. 1965.
Omar Al-works Najdi’s ranged from drawing to sculpture as part of a continuous investigation into the interaction between man and the natural world. He was also interested in Islamic and Pharaonic art, and he was successful in fusing the Egyptian line drawings with the harmony of Islamic piece formations through ongoing renewal.
Omar Al-Najdi won a number of awards, including two drilling prizes for the annual exhibition in Venice in 1961 and 1962, the first prize in the sixth Alexandria sculpture competition in 1965, the first prize in the seventh Alexandria sculpture competition in 1968, and the first prize in the drilling and wire drunk competition in the Biennial of Alexandria in 1974.
Omar Al -Najdi’s talents were not limited to visual art only, as he directed nearly 32 documentary films about the lives of Egyptian artists between a quarter of an hour, and he performed nine songs between emotional, religious, patriotism and popularity, as well as a song about children’s children.
