The ES Setif team expressed its severe displeasure with what it claimed were the referees’ frequent errors against it in a number of matches in the Algerian Professional League tournament, implying that there may be a plot against it.
He mentioned the numerous errors made by the referee of the game in which he defeated his host JS Kabylie 3/2 yesterday, Friday, in the ninth stage of the league, in a statement posted on his page on the social networking site “Facebook” today, Saturday, particularly by announcing a fake penalty for the competitor.
He also emphasised the need for the parties in charge of arbitration to take action in order to protect the team in the forthcoming matches due to the abundance of such significant mistakes, which he defined as bad habits that are repeated in its matches.
The professional championship and Algerian football officials must act swiftly and firmly to ensure the necessary protection for harmony, he continued. “The repetition of such mistakes that robs our team every time in front of its competitors, leads us to question the existence of a conspiracy against the club,” he said.
The ES Setif administration assured the team’s supporters that it will not tolerate their rights and will vigorously defend them while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. It also emphasised that it had submitted a thorough report to the Federal Committee for Arbitration in order to make the Federal Committee for Arbitration aware of the magnitude of the numerous and significant errors that some referees had made against the team since the team’s inception.
