“Communications” cooperates with Al -Arish University to develop youth skills in North Sinai and qualify them for the labor market photo

Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Information Technology Industry Development Authority and Al -Arish University to develop the skills of university and youth students from new graduates in North Sinai Governorate in the fields of communications and information technology and qualify them for the labor market.

With regard to the arrangement, Dr.

Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stressed that this cooperation comes within the framework of the state’s interest in developing the Sinai, building the capabilities of its children and providing them with distinguished job opportunities; Pointing out that this agreement reflects the keenness of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to expand the geographical base of the training programs and initiatives provided by the Ministry and its affiliated destinations throughout the Republic, as well as its keenness to achieve communication and integration with the academic community to create a base of digital cadres in the governorates and refine them with an array of integrated skills The local and international labour markets in the communications and technology industries necessitate it.

The agreement’s two-year work term aims to collaborate on the capability development of about 600 young men annually from North Sinai Governorate society, honing their language, computer, and cybersecurity fundamentals skills in addition to technical training within our digital future initiative in one of the digital marketing, web development, or data analysis paths.

The Information Technology Industry Development Authority will, in accordance with this agreement, offer a summer training programme to all first- and third-year students from the College of Computers and Information, as well as to specialised students at Al-Arish University. The program’s objective is to help young people develop their skills in a variety of information and communications technology fields as well as in the fundamental job skills.

“Communications” collaborates with Al-Arish University to help young people in North Sinai enhance their talents and become marketable.
